I used this layout a very long time ago. This was the first layout The Elfstone ever had. It had a white background, transparent frames, pink scrollbars and a graphic of Arwen and Aragorn at the top. It didn't exactly match, but it was my first layout. I had help from M-K from Vanya Edhel with the coding, because at that time I had no idea what I was doing. This was used the whole time I was hosted at Bravenet. I had no splash page for the site at the time.
This layout had the same layout design as the previous, only I changed the graphic on the top of the page to a banner (700x150) size. It was of Aragorn using the Palantir to confront Sauron. I used Scriptina as the font. I don't have a screencap to show what the layout looked like unfortunately, but I do have the graphic that was in the header. I had no splash page for the site yet.

This was the 'barrowed' layout. It was pre-made by Arwen and I just added my things into it. It was my first layout while hosted at Freewebs. The background was a magenta color and there was a graphic of Arwen and Aragorn at the top, same color as the background. There is no splash page.

This layout I wanted something to be different. I changed the colors, the design, I tried to change everything. I saw a really cool Miranda Otto pre-made layout at Arwen's and I thought I could change it around so that it could fit the site. I made the graphic at the top and I rearranged some parts of the codes and made it my own. Now, I know Arwen deserves credit, so I listed her in my Thanks To section and on the stats section on the side. I didn't do all of the layout either, so I know I don't expect full credit, but I'm okay with that. I am still learning html. The enter sign has a fade effect (enter sign).

I always thought about putting up a strider-themed layout. I really love that version of Aragorn: the rough ranger theme. So I decided I haven't used black background in any of my layouts so far, and I haven't done anything quite like this layout. I made it all on my own this time too! The font is 'Garamond' with 'I Used to have a Crush on You' faded in the back. It's my favorite layout so far. The enter sign has a fade effect (enter sign).

I think this was devil of a layout. It had solid iframes and the whole picture was an image map to like 5 different things. It was really hard to make, but I really love it! Main color scheme is an orange and black--kind of similar to Halloween themed, but that wasn't what I was going for when I made it. The font was Castiglione Regular and the nav bar font is 04b03. The enter sign has no effect (enter sign).

I loved this layout. The colors are very nice and misty kind of, there are a lot of easy colors that can go with it. The iframes weren't as bad this time. They are on the right side of the main graphic. I had a menu off to the left side. The main font was JaneAustin. This scene is one of my favorites in the Fellowship, where Aragorn is singing about Tinuviel. The enter sign has no effect (enter sign).

This layout has a beige/white color scheme. The image is an imagemap. I used various brushes (paint splotches and butterflies mostly) with half picture-framed photos of Arwen and Aragorn. I actually used icon brushes to make the four surrounding pictures. The text all the way on the right is a song that is sung in RotK. I loved the lyrics and thought it was perfect for this layout. The font is just Times New Roman. The enter sign is an image map with linkage, mostly (enter sign).

I was having difficulty with this one. I changed it from Helm's Deep battle scene to Theoden/Aragorn speech, from forest green to purple. I just couldn't decide! None of them seemed to look right. And finally, after watching FotR one night, I remembered an "Under Construction" sign I used to have on my Bravenet website and I wanted to make one like it, of Boromir's death scene. I like the way it turned out. I used transparent iframes but I didn't color the scrollbars because for Mozilla (what I use now) the colors don't show up anyway. I used Carpenter ICG as the font. The enter sign is an image map to my various other websites (enter sign).

Eldarion is the son of Aragorn and Arwen. It explains in the Appendix A of Return of the King that he also had several daughters, not given names. I used pictures from various sites to make 'exceptions' for the children of my favorite Lord of the Rings couple. Garrett Hedlund takes the place of Eldarion. I manip'ed the photo so that his jerkin has the white tree symbol and added the evenstar pendant around his neck. Near the bottom of the page are six boxes with Aragorn, Arwen, Eldarion and three elvish-looking girls. I named them Culhilwen, Nudaliel and Pennhilien (but those are not their true names) so when you hover over the pictures, you'll see who they are and/or represent, sort of like a family tree. I did a lot of work and blending and re-doing on this layout, however it is by far my favorite of all the layouts I have made so far. I used iframes, divs, image maps and the font is Saeculum. The enter sign has no effect (enter sign).

This is a very simple layout. I was having trouble coming up with one that's all pretty like my previous one, but I figure this one turned out all right. I picked up a lot more CSS coding from a few of my friends, so I was able to tweak a few more things. The graphic is plain, Liv Tyler model picture with a blended Aragorn shot faded in the background. Surprisingly didn't take me too long to create, but I'm still proud of it. The font is actually new, the King & Queen font. Very pretty; I recommend it. I used iframes, div layers and a lot of CSS style sheets. The enter sign has a roll-over tear effect (enter sign).

This is the exact same layout as 10.1, only with a different graphic. I like this one a lot more than the previous one. It has more smoothness and gracefulness about it than its predecessor. It's also more gray and grim, which makes the mood contrasted with the semi-light brown as the background. The font is, again, the King & Queen font and I again used iframes, div layers and lots of CSS. The enter sign is the same picture of Arwen in the layout, only less faded and orange, but no effect (enter sign).

This layout is really more symbolic than anything else. Lately, I've been more mystified by the possibilities that could arise in the transition movie being made about Aragorn's mother. I believe Gilraen died in her youth, when Aragorn was just a boy, and I imagine her to be beautiful and graceful, almost like an elf. I blended pictures of Emmy Rossum, my Gilraen proxy, into the ever-popular picture of Aragorn at his mother's grave. I wanted to give the illusion of a vision. The background is black, which creates a mood of uncertainty. The font is Wingsong, with some Georgia in there as well. I used transparent iframes and an astounding amount of CSS this time around. The enter sign is of Rossum in an elvish-type dress, but no effect (enter sign).

I made this layout the week that my grandfather died. I was in a very morbid mood, and I thought about the fact that I had never seen a layout featuring the imagined funeral of King Aragorn in The Two Towers during the Arwen's Fate scene. I blended pictures of Arwen and Aragorn's funeral bed into the background, whilst adding tear streaks down Arwen's cheeks for a more grieving effect. A picture of the deceased king lays in the foreground, surrounded by a gray background which seperates him from his queen, as death seperates them. The background, text, and headers are all shades of gray, creating a more morbid mood. The font is Cezanne. I used transparent iframes and basically the same CSS style sheets as the last layout, though I did change them around a bit. The enter sign is of Arwen's mourning veil blowing in the wind as she looks down on Aragorn's funeral bed. It is an animation (enter sign).
All of a sudden I got a spurt of inspiration for this layout. At first, I had no idea what I wanted to do, and then it just came to me and I started throwing pictures around on PSP for three hours. I don't remember what fonts or textures I used or how I made it, actually. Again, I used transparent iframes and CSS, and lots of other transparent images. The hard to see words in the upper right corner under the navigation reads "The words that we hear / soft whispers in our ears / tell the quiet demise / of a sacred place feared." If you can't tell, its about Lothlorien. The enter sign is a picture used in the layout which I moved from a screencap to a different forest photo (enter sign). This may be my favorite layout yet.
